Terms of Service
1.1 Platform Nature: hellyeahmu.co.uk is an unofficial, private Mu Online server running a custom copy of the game originally developed by Webzen. We operate using premium, licensed IGCN server files running a highly stable Season 6 Episode 3 configuration—the definitive final version of the classic Mu Online client interface.
1.2 Data & Service Risk: Please be aware that private servers, by nature, operate over temporary periods and may occasionally close, wipe, or restart with fresh databases; therefore, there is always an inherent risk of data or progress loss in the future. With that reality in mind, we have dedicated our resources since 2011 to providing a long-term, stable, and bug-free gaming service. Every fresh start is a new adventure. We offer a PvP-focused, non-reset server configuration, and we are constantly working to improve server balance and features for the community.
1.3 Service Continuity & Third-Party Liability: While the administration is committed to maintaining continuous server operation for as long as reasonably possible, we hold zero legal or financial liability for unexpected server downtime, database loss, or permanent shutdowns resulting from factors beyond our control. This includes—but is not limited to—actions or outages by hosting providers, license suspensions by third-party vendors (such as IGCN), hardware failures, or major real-life personal emergencies affecting administration personnel. In the event of a planned server closure or database wipe within our control, the administration will make every reasonable effort to notify the community at least one (1) month in advance.
2.1 Cheating & Advertising: The use of third-party hack tools, cheats, or bots is strictly prohibited. Advertising other games or competing Mu Online servers is not allowed.
2.2 Exploits & Bug Reporting: Exploiting game bugs, glitches, or configuration flaws is strictly forbidden. Any abnormal drop rates, item dupes, broken rewards, or faulty game functions must be reported to the administration immediately via email, forum, Facebook, or the website support ticket system. Failure to report known exploits may result in account termination.
2.3 Player Conduct & Enforcement: Constructive criticism and harsh/bad language are permitted on our servers, including toward the administration. However, breaking core gameplay rules or disrupting the community maliciously will result in punishments ranging from temporary suspensions to permanent character or account bans. The hellyeahmu.co.uk staff reserves the right to block any character or account to enforce rules, protect the community, and maintain fair play.
3.1 Prohibition of Account Sharing: Account sharing, trading access, or transferring login credentials to third parties is strictly prohibited.
3.2 Unrecoverable Accounts: Your account security relies entirely on your secret Security Question & Answer set during registration. Because this platform does not utilize email account recovery, if a shared account is compromised and the secret Security Question/Answer is changed by another party, the account will be permanently unrecoverable.
3.3 Non-Intervention Policy: The administration will under no circumstances intervene, assist in recovery, or restore access to accounts that have been compromised due to voluntary account sharing. You assume 100% of the risk and responsibility for keeping your login details confidential.
4.1 Trading Risk: While Real Money Trading (RMT) of items and characters directly between players is permitted, it is conducted entirely at your own risk. The administration operates with a strict policy of zero involvement in player-to-player transactions.
4.2 No "Trusted" Status: The administration does NOT verify, define, certify, or endorse any players as "trusted users," "middlemen," or "verified sellers." Any player claiming to hold official or trusted status is lying.
4.3 Complete Zero Liability: The administration accepts no responsibility or liability for any financial losses, fraud, chargebacks, or scams resulting from real-money trades. Staff will not mediate disputes, investigate scam reports, reverse trades, return lost items, or compensate lost real currency.
4.4 Player Caution: Players are strongly advised to exercise extreme caution and strictly avoid high-value real-money transactions with unverified individuals.
4.5 Server Store & Cash Shop Policy: The administration does not currently sell game credits, virtual currency, microtransactions, or items for real money. However, the administration reserves the right to implement a server web shop, donation system, or premium services at any point in the future. Should monetization be introduced, every effort will be made to maintain game integrity, competitive balance, and fairness for both new and existing players without compromising our non-reset design.
5.1 Data Collection: To create an account and play on HellYeahMU, we collect your Email Address, Password, and a Secret Question & Answer (used as the primary verification method for support).
5.2 In-Game Privacy: We value your private conversations. Standard live chat and private whispers between online players are not monitored or stored in our database. However, messages sent via the in-game Messenger system (F Key friend list mail/letters) are retained in the server database until deleted by the user to enable offline messaging functionality. Public chat channels (Global, Post, Guild, Map, etc.) remain visible to all online players.
5.3 Security Warning: Passwords on this server are stored in plain text (unhashed) within our database. Do NOT use a password that you use for any other service (such as your personal email, banking, or other game accounts). Create a completely unique password for HellYeahMU.
5.4 GDPR Rights & Account Deletion: We will never sell or share your personal data with third parties. Under EU GDPR regulations, you have the right to request access to, correction of, or permanent deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting the Administration team via a support ticket.
6.1 Web Modules: The hellyeahmu.co.uk website provides custom modules designed to enhance your gameplay and character management. Exploiting bugs or vulnerabilities in website modules is strictly forbidden. Any technical issues must be reported to the administration immediately.
6.2 Forum Rules: Our community forum is a space to discuss the game, share guides, and connect with players. Off-topic, spam, or nonsense threads will be locked. Advertising external games, services, or websites is prohibited. Harsh language is tolerated if it relates directly to server feedback or game discussion. The staff reserves the right to lock threads or ban forum users to maintain order.
